The 2007 Lexus GX 470 is a sports utility vehicle to the bone. Unlike other utes, it sticks to its roots and is not so much in the competition to get closer and closer to acting like a car. It isn’t built to drive down city streets, and looks down its hood at it, although it certainly has no problem with it and performs perfectly well on the road. But this guy was not built to be on the road, and buying it if you don’t intend to do something more with it would be tragic. In the category of off road capability, this eagle soars.
What’s so great about the 2007 GX 470? There are quite a number of things, and it’s not perfect, but they should be enough to convince any steady camper of what use it would be.
- stands up to off and on the road conditions with a steel like fervor
- is well equipped and competent on the interior
- very richly done up on the inside and out
As for it’s a drawbacks, they are:
- little space on the interior, and hard for adults to sit anywhere in the back. There is an option for a third row, but this only complicates the condition.
- side-hinged cargo door makes it difficult to put things in from off a curb.
Cheers,
Fashun Guadarrama.
