What’s so great about the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500? Well, it’s been around for a long time and it’s just getting better as each model year passes by. GMC has done well in fixing up the Sierra 1500 mistakes, and each shot it makes it takes back and does again for each model year to make the next release both refreshing and improved. In this release, trhe 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 comes with a redesigned cabin that is classy and stylish, an interesting companion to a long ride. Speaking of ride, this one gives it with comfort, but there’s more to it than that. It also has power, and is willing to be put to the grinder. Among full size pick up trucks, this one is up for the competition.
If you add on the big towing package, you might think that would make a difference in the ride, but it actually doesn’t. Even with the addition of that package and the full amount of power this truck can take, the ride is silent and comfortable, as though there weren’t anything being hauled by the back. Its fit and finish is remarkable on the interior, and there’s no trouble being in this cabin for a longer drive. A bunch of safety features are included.
The four speed transmission probably wasn’t the best choice for this year’s Sierra, and occasionally it can get in the way of the high levels of performance. It has to take up some room to get into a turn, which many trucks have cut down on, so in that area it lags behind. The armrests on the door are thick and uncomfortable, taking away from the otherwise comfortableness of the ride.
What does the GMC Sierra 1500 have to offer new for the 2007 model year? It’s pretty much been rebuilt from top to bottom, so it’s hard to know where to start. Some of the main things that have been bettered on are the trim of the cabin, which we kind of discussed above, and and the overall greatness of how its built. Some additions have been made, with extra safety features and more towing capability.
Cheers,
Fashun Guadarrama.
